Perhaps we should recruit more area kids that can't use the staying-home excuse to dump us. <_<

Or at least have a very well publicized walk on program, especially to kids within a 100 mile radius of the campus. A diamond here and and a diamond there would sure pretty things up. A little university in Nebraska built a pretty successful program over many years, and many times announcers would point out some of their top players and mention they were walk ons.

I agree. The best player on our team right now is a walk on. If we had ten of him we would be in a lot better shape. As far as the big boys are concerned, let's go out and find us some local fatboys and mold 'em into 4th and 5th year linemen! :lol:
