If the score of this game wasn't enough to make you sick, the halftime show by the elitist owl band, who's known for their sarcastic antics will. I got a call from several down at the game who said that during the halftime show when the owl band was performing they made an announcement congratulating North Texas for having the largest college of music in the nation, or something to that fact, and then said, and I'm paraphrasing, "...so the next time you see a graduate from North Texas please don't forget to tip them properly".

Don't say that, our Music Dept is very highly thought of and everybody is envious of it.

The Rice band, like the Stanford band, are known as being jackasses because they have no musical ability. They have to have a schtick to get people to watch them.

Both are funny groups tho!

During the first game of the season of one of Rice's many head coaches in the 70s and 80s, the MOB dedicated their halftime show to "the annual greeting of the new head coach." They are unmerciful to everyone!

Despite our football team sucking, I must say that the green brigade blew the Rice fans away. As I walked out of the stadium every Rice fan managed to make the same comment of "Sorry your football team sucks, your band is amazing though."

BTW, the Green Brigade sounded awesome. It will be pretty cool to hear them blasting away in a new stadium. They are a great college band.

You should see what they do to UH when they play. Anybody who didn't laugh at the MOB's halftime show doesnt like comedy. Our entire group was applauding the comment. It was funny.
