Tylor Perry Stats from game against Grant

Great victory for Coach Mac and Tech today over K-State.  Kind of had an odd ending though.

Tylor had a tough game, going 5 of 15, and 4 of 11 from three pointers with four turnovers. 

Anyone know if Grant offered Tylor?

Without knowing what his body language and tone was like, it seems like he misses Denton a bit. Like a quick flashback to happier times.

Not weird, IMO.  Grant is standing in front of his supporters and can proudly claim to building the winning culture in Denton.

Some weird saltiness when it pertains to Grant and Tylor. Ideal ambassadors for UNT in their time here. Both instrumental in rebuilding a quality foundation for this program and taking it to unprecedented heights. Both are responsible for some of the best UNT sports memories I’ve got in my 25+ years of being a fan. 
 

Will root for both of them to do well outside of when we match up with them. Then just a heartfelt handshake of appreciation after we knock them out of the NCAA Tournament.

I've watched some KSU games this year...

TP is good when they down and cross screen for him, which they do more for him than we did. He's not nearly as good in his iso/step back game at KSU as he was here, and that has to do with playing against lengthier defenders.

It’s almost that “sign” or reminder how cool it was to be in Denton. We’ve all had that sign on this board. Hence Denton and UNT live on wherever we go.

Totally agree...seems like we could be gracious enough to appreciate what they did to move our program to another level and wish them success in their current and future situations.  I am sure they both want the best for us even though they have moved on.  Where would our program be now without them having been a part of it?

No saltiness from me. I am thankful for both of them and what they did  here, but I have moved on from them just as they have moved on from us. I wish them both every success unless they are playing us.
