That is a fairly delicious schedule though. Rutgers has made some noise these past few years and UCONN has excellent name recognition. Mix in some Big 12 and SEC and they are doing alright.

There are some UNT fans that like to attend SMU games it seems, so that should help a little.

But, this Big East thing may just end up as a disaster for SMU's attendance numbers...rarely the greatest anyway, this may just be a disaster. Who knows, maybe SMU students, alums and fans will actually turn out for some of bees games.

On the other hand, I do think CUSA membership will help UNT's attendance numbers.

I used to think that introducing the fans to the players was a funny joke and a witty observation, but in SMU's case it could very well become quite literally true.

I'm looking forward to the 2013 season. Loserville fans have already come to our boards to talk smack and for some strange reason, West Virginia folks are doing the same.
That is weird, we have this guy from Houston that inexplicably comes on our board to talk smack when we don't give a crap. Sounds similar.

If SMU plays the way they did this past season, they will lose a few including winnable ones by a small margin, and then for no reason explode and win games no one thought they had a chance at. Seriously, if you look at their wins, losses, and points scored in each - especially based on the team played in any given game, it makes almost zero sense to believe that it was the same team week in and week out. Statistically, that had to be the weirdest season played by any FBS team in recent history. So really, it doesn't seem to matter how good the teams are that they play, it just matters whether they are "on" or not.

That's actually a kick-ass schedule.

Come on, dude! Texas Southern and Idaho beats the crap out of 2 ot Texas Tech, TCU, or Baylor at home! (A@M played there last year, so I'm positive that will be a roadie for the ponies).

Don't you know these teams won't play in 30K seat stadiums!!!!111!!!!1!!
