This may have been posted, but this morning was the first time I heard it. About 9:30 this morning on The Musers, there was a promo for the "New Mean Green Era" and of course Coach Mac was mentioned as well as the new stadium. So it seems we are stepping up our marketing efforts in the DFW area.

I heard it also, seems like it was right after a TCU promo.

Excellent...good to see (and hear) this sort of promo. Seems lots of things are moving in the right direction at UNT these days...GO MEAN GREEN!

Someone didn't like this post......because? Please explain as I would really like to know what/why you are thinking to make my comments negative for you.

Anyone know if having Jasmine from The Fan participate in GMGBowl 8 paid off into gratuitous air time from her towards the program? Since I don't listen to The Fan, I'm not really sure.

I will ask her and see but with the new format of the morning show she doesn't get too much talk time and of course Monday morning was all about Sunday night.

I really hate the Fan, but everyone knows that UNT alumni only listen to the ticket.

I love jub but his old roommate ruins it for me. Its all about the GAC daddy Randy Galloway, who doesnt love a man who goes gambling, drinks like a college student and bails out quincy carter

Been listening for the past hour or two trying to catch the promo, but haven't heard it. I'll never understand why people like this station so much.

Well the Ticket is one of the best stations in America, so they must be doing something right.

I heard the ad around 8 this morning and got so giddy I nearly swerved off the road. Glad to see we are promoting the program, and competing with TCU and SMUt for commercial airtime.

Is it FB season yet?

Just heard George and Junior do a live promo for purchasing Mean Green season tickets. Had good copy points about the caliber of teams we'll be playing, McCarney, stadium, etc.

Just heard it again. (I promise... no more updates on each time I hear it.) It's just weird hearing Craig Miller promoting UNT.

He's only doing it because the station is getting paid for him to do it. Probably about as much passion behind it as he has for All-Pro foundation repair.

      SB vs Wichita State (4/26)

      Regardless of what happens tomorrow.....we need to win 2 of 3 in Charlotte....right? As to backup catcher Moffitt......in our last game at Memphis....she tripped over first base....and fell on her wrist. I'm guessing it's a sprained wrist. As to backup catcher....I don't think we have one. But they used Olguin to warm up people in the bullpen. And remember on Kalei....she had to catch 16 innings last night.....and today's game was early. So might just be gassed. Go Mean Green!!!

      SB vs Wichita State (4/26)

      I missed the first inning but good to see Childers back in and getting some momentum. She retired the first eight batters she faced, striking out five or six but then unfortunately walked the bases loaded with two outs. After a wild pitch scored one, #29 for the Shockers hit her 18th homer of the year to put WSU up 4-0 on only 1 hit. The same freshman pitcher for the Shockers that was perfect through 4.2 last night started today and had a no-hitter through 4.2 again. Unfortunately this time she did not break. Wagoner had the last four innings and pitched well until WSU got some insurance runs off of her in the 7th. I hope Childers can get back in a rhythm. Gonna be tough to go to Charlotte with 1st place still on the line with only two reliable pitchers. Another thing I noticed this weekend was that Kalei seems to be a little slow going after those wild pitches. Obviously the first run of the day scored on that. We didn't even get a throwback to contest. I wonder if she's hurt. Backup catcher Moffitt was in a sling this weekend, I wonder what happened to her. I don't know if we have a third catcher on staff. Charlotte and FAU both won today, so they're 17-6 and we're 17-7. Would be nice if USF and UAB did us a favor and won tomorrow so we'd be tied for first heading into the final weekend. Seems UAB wins when we need them to lose, and vice versa. I just want a top two seed so we only have to win two games to take the conference title. I'm really tempted to go ahead and request Friday the 10th off so I can head up to Wichita.

      UNT has got to get guys drafted. 2 in the last 20 years despite having 5 different head coaching regimes during that time period isn't good for a D1 Texas school.

      Our kicker perhaps? Saw that Jason Bean was heading to Indianapolis and made me wonder if we will see anyone in an NFL camp this year.
