This will be a very fun event. If you haven't made a game at Pourhouse, believe me next to being there there is no better atmosphere to watch a Mean Green game. There will be a number of drink and food specials and other fun items around this game. More info to come but please make plans to join me, Evan, Mean Rob and the rest of the gang @Pourhouse for the Clemson game!

We already have a sitter for the kiddos and plan on being there at least an hour early just to be sure we get a seat with a good view. Hopefully in the media room.

Anyone know what the specials are (if any) for this event? Unfortunately I'm probably going to be attending (with friends) to whichever place can save me the most money.

One thing that will make it "special" is that you would be with a bunch a great Mean Green fans...all having a great time supporting the Mean Green. I am guessing there will be specials on beer and other stuff. Give either the Pourhouse or Fox and Hound a look-see, I'll bet you will have a good time and it won't break the bank. If you want to come to the Fox and Hound event, I'll buy you a beer!

      A few HSO's

      I was kind of hoping this HSO thread would help me get over the hump and renew the two season tickets I’ve had since the days of dirt at Fouts Field and the old cement urinals there. Unfortunately I, probably like some others, can’t seem to generate any old fashioned enthusiasm for the new version of “ here today gone tomorrow, pass through jocks . Somehow there just seems to be a missing piece; commitment, loyalty, alma mater. Yesterday’s discarded intangibles. Well, today is deadline day, can I break an old habit?

      For anyone who hasn't experienced the greatness of Hutchins, you should treat yourself the next time you are in either Frisco or McKinney. Some of the best brisket I've had (and other good stuff too). And... since UNT has expanded into Frisco, I guess we can claim Hutchins as a UNT BBQ place 😎

      There’s no contradiction. The average fan/alumni aren’t paying NIL, it’s the big donors and corporations. And they’re only doing it because that’s the way it is under the current, broken system. My 2nd point is that comparing college coaches with college players is neither a fair nor equal comparison.
