I was listening to the Ticket while doing errands, and the great Rich Phillips said they had five starters not playing, including their star quarterback Preston Stone.

SMU is an ACC team now so it of zero consequence for us or our conference going forward.  All bowl games are meaningless if they aren't in the playoff or your G5 team is trying to complete a perfect season.  Too many player changes and coaching changes to compare to the regular season teams. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Make fun of SMU losing to a team that went 6-6 in the ACC.  Pretend UNT didn't lose to teams with worse records in both AAC and CUSA.

Make fun of SMU for bad attendance.  Pretend UNT doesn't have worse attendance with vastly more students & alumni (and a better home schedule this year too).

Those things can be true for both UNT and SMU. The difference is, we're not on social media claiming to be "P3." Your fan base has been loud ever since whoring your way into an ACC that doesn't want you but the reality is, you don't look or behave like a power conference school despite being loud about it. If you're going to make noise about something, expect to be called out when you fall short.

I rarely take direct shots at UNT, but I do expect to take some. But I'd hope they would be better shots based on things UNT does better than SMU.  Like clowning our pathetic stadium concessions or our abject failure of a bball program.
