The same way we are extremely limited up front, the coaching staff had to have known about these deficiencies. They had the ability to try and address and chose to roll with what we have. I hope we improve, I won't judge Morris after one game.

Worse game NT has played in a few years. Morris is gonna find a sparse crowd on the 30th. I don't know if this team can beat FIU or LaTech.

I don't mean to bring any bad luck, but I'm getting ugly juju vibes from this game that I have not felt since watching Year 1 Benford.

I think the worst part is it was obvious we couldn't contain their run game. With 1:47 left in the first half, they had the length of the field to go. After a first down play, we called timeout to stop the clock. A bit eager considering the obvious strength vs weakness they posses. They ended up scoring a TD with 7 seconds left and never gave up momentum. Game changing drive with them starting the second half with the ball. Cal scored 14 straight points and they never looked back.

oof 600 yds given up, Cal had the ball 2x as long. Not quite the start we had hoped for... oh f**k it, pathetic start.

I think the reality is hitting how little Talent this team has. We have been a #Hit6 team against CUSA talent and it seems like almost every time we play someone outside of the mid pack  G5's we are exposed.
