Does everyone expect Mason Fine to start at HOD ?

Coach speak. When you're forced to go with the backup QB, you don't want to make it seem like you don't have confidence in that guy.

So I think it's pretty obvious that Fine is still banged up., which was a lot of people's concerns with Fine before the season. At this point, they've really got to be getting ready for the bowl, and you need to maximize reps for the starter. Good luck, Alec!

The news isn’t as promising with Fine, who has been out since injuring his shoulder in a loss to Western Kentucky on Nov. 12.

“He is still sore,” Littrell said. “He is throwing a little in practice, but he is not going through the whole team period.  He is a little further away.

“I wouldn’t anticipate him starting because he hasn’t practiced..”

At least it won't be a underthrow ?

The best performance was Turner Smiley at 167 yards receiving from? .....Yep from your big daddy Alec Morris.

So, when is your's and Alec's wedding date?

Hope everybody brings their favorite sharpie to the game to let AM sign your souvenir cup.

Why would Andrew McNulty be signing autographs?

So maybe not...

If you listened to the press conference this is not how it came across.

It was very clear that he said Mason won't play unless he is healthy enough to get back in practice. And that he feels comfortable with Alec and has confidence in him. Coach speak.

Now maybe if they were both healthy, he would still go with Alec, but that was absolutely not what was said, or even implied.

Yep. Littrell made it clear the reason Mason wasn't going to start was because he was still too sore/injured to practice. So they're going with the backup.
