NT / smu Position by Position Comparison

Have any of you done  a key position comparison with our NT players vs smu given what we know post  Baylor game? Can our guys keep their QB in the pocket ?  He is GOOD on his feet but after that limited. I believe our offense , running and passing, is up to it ( better than last year in running and receivers). Your take?

hard to do without a UNT 2 deep...

This right chere.

Also, I missed the game and forgot to DVR. Anyone know how good BTN is at re-airing games?

Edit: Whoops. I meant Big XII digital network. They haven't put a game online since the bowls.

Thursday or most likely Friday I will put out a Break Down of the SMU game. I will discuss the matchups, key players, how UNT can slow SMU down, how UNT can be successful against SMU. Stuff like that.

I'll save you some time.  Be successful running the football in early downs, allowing drives to be sustained and eating Time off the clock.  Do NOT let their qb scramble keep your pass rushing lanes and stay gap sound.  Oh yeah, remind our corners that the fast guys they're covering are not supposed to get behind them.

Whoa!

Goree overtook the guy that every DB said had the best camp & was the toughest to cover: Kidsey.  Kahn over Rutherford?

Miles held onto his spot.  I'm worried about any kind of speed rush coming from his side.

Davis held off Marshall.  Good for him.  I hope he hangs on.
Glad to see Whitfield steps right back into the 2-deep even after an entire offseason away from the team.

Hopefully SirCalvin earned that starting spot and proves his worth this season.  He's been a disappointment so far.  Between he & T.J.  that 1-tech spot has some beef.

Garner flew under the radar all offseason.  Is he ready?
Where's Ellis?   SSP scooped it.   He must have messed up somewhere because he was dominant in the Periscope vids.

VERY THIN at both Safety spots. Where's Schileci?
