Game 3 Complaint Thread

Thing about the yellowjackets is that they are technically entirely in the right. No amount of customer feedback short of the entire fan base refusing to return to the stadium is going to cause them to say, "OK, you're right guys. We've been jerks. We'll back off."

The in house staff at House of Blues Dallas, for instance, is the reason I refuse to go there no matter who's playing. But that they want to go on little fiefdom power trips isn't going to change. There is nothing I can say to anybody to change that.

I shouldn't have to flash my ticket every time I walk by them. If their presence takes away from my experience during the game, they're in the wrong. My experience at the Ballpark in Arlington is much different compared to Apogee this year when it comes to the "security" personnel.

I agree with you. I just don't think they care. Period.

As if it matters but a cop buddy of mine said...

"Mmmm if he believes he's a danger to hisself or others but sounds like what the guy said pissed the cop off and he utilized his ability to articulate it. But I wasn't there. In a game situation or tailgating if the guy was just drunk and having a good time he prolly should leave him alone"

Gave him the scenario and that's exactly what he said, I copied and pasted that. So, there ya go 90. Mold that into whatever you want.

Wait, you have a cop buddy? I thought you hated police?

If a cop stops you to talk to you and you have been drinking and tell him to piss off, there is a very good chance the cuffs go on immediately. Your only hope that they don't is that he doesn't want to bother with you. But if that were true, he wouldn't be having a conversation with you, now would he.

PI is the easiest charge to articulate in the world of law enforcement. I'm sure quite a few D-bags like yourself have taken the ride after one beer because you "knew your rights" to drink beer.

Stop giving advice about subject matter that you haven't a clue about.

They are only doing what they are directed to do by the AD. If you have an issue, that's where you should start.

You really think they care about who sits where? They have demonstrated in Previous seasons that they don't. They have been told to be more proactive, probably because of the high number of student tickets handed out for the 1st two games, although I really don't see why that would make a difference.

If I really cared, I would, but I really don't. Once we scan the tickets, you and I reside in a world of elevator operators and doormen. Hence on my original post on this matter that I merely laughed at them when they wouldn't let me walk along the little sidewalk between the upper and lower bowl sections.

I am actually worried, though, that this weekend when my kid wants to sit with her friends in the wing zone, and she wants me to go the hell away, that the yellowjackets won't let me go and check on her periodically because I don't hold a general admission ticket.

You are an idiot.

Try that with a cop after one beer. See how fast your ass winds up charged with PI.

And your dumb ass would probably resist and have that charge added. Stop saying stupid crap on here that someone actually dumber than you (if that is even possible at this point) may do and get in trouble for.

Arent you the one always crying about name calling when you get hammered on the polictical board?

Was actually stopped at section 210 an hour before the game and told I had to go out to the concourse and come back in at 208/209. Idiotic. Also walked past one of them and came back no more than 1 minute later with a bottle of water and asked for my ticket again.

It'd be easier to not get annoyed by it if there was any semblance of a crowd on the alumni side.

Isn't that what we are all here for?

Stingy ticket checkers at every section with like 1200 people filling the Alumni side lower bowl.

That shit pissed me off. They stopped us walking north to south across the mid-level walk way and said they wanted us next time to instead walk around and through the concourse under the stands and then enter through the portals to the lower sections. I'll end up getting escorted out again before it's all over with if that stupidity continues.

I don't know if this is relevant, but there are new C-USA regulations this year that stops students from sitting directly behind the opposition bench. That may be why there are more yellowjackets around and more checks than in previous seasons.

Though it does seem a bit pedantic and silly to enforce ticket checks when there's no way Apogee is going to sell out any time soon.

The CSC folks are killjoys though. I proposed to my wife (a Green Brigade member) at Fouts, but I wouldn't be able to do that at Apogee as no-one can go down to the field from the stands. Also ruins the traditions of the Green Brigade and their 3rd/4th year+ members.
