MGB: NCAA approves blanket schedule waiver

I hope this is a lesson that we never should have any business scheduling more than one Non-Div 1 school. In the past we've had two or at most three during the JJ era but five it is outright embarrassment, especially when you consider they were all home games.

Johhny always had some tough ones just like we did this year (Portland, Oklahoman, BYU, SFA and Texas A@M (remains to be seen) and then he would schedule easier opponents. We always had the likes of Sam Houston state, Jackson state, Cameron, SE Louisiana, Texas southern, university of the southwest. In fact all of those schools were played in the same season. We also had a few tough games that year like Oklahoma state, rice, and Texas A@M. But that was a Johhny schedule. Plus sunbelt conference games. It's a decent schedule but not to far off from Benfords. We should have just kept UTA.

I'm sure people loved seeing Cameron, Texas southern, SE Louisiana, university of the southwest and Oklahoma panhandle state at home.... No one complained then? Because those 5 games at home are so much better...
