We've had good experience with the bar at the Holiday Inn at 183 & MoPac. I believe it's called "Legends". If you can find a joint showing the game I'm good for at least the first 1/2. Family obligations and a 2:30 am wake up call make it hard to stay the duration.

awesome! i literally live next door to that place! I'll go ask them tomorrow. I have another place in mind I'm going to ask, I'll post what I find out.

That's a good place. Food's decent, and lots of TV's. Second the recommendation.

I talked to someone at legends today, they said they were still trying to work on it with the cable company. Not sure if that means that their internet provider can connect to espn3 or what. At any rate the guy said that he would let me know sometime tomorrow morning. I told him I have an alumni group that wants to meet and watch the game, Didn't tell him that group may only consist of one or two of us haha! If there's no place that can televise the FIU and Houston game would anyone want to meet for the Bama game? it's on FSN so it would be a lot easier to find a place showing the game.

To all, UNT90Grad and I just had the idea having taking a laptop, hooking up an HDMI cable to a tv, and using their wifi to stream. It was super easy. We called them, went and tested the connection and it was on. bada-boom, bada-bing, watching party off a laptop tomorrow night. It seems like more trouble than it's worth, but it really is quite simple. I had to borrow my neighbor's laptop cause it has HDMI out and i am tkaing a boombox for the audio. We will post pictures, I hope, afterwards. just find a restaurant with wifi that isn't slammed.

I was referring to the way that we got this watching party together in Collin County at the Rudy's in Allen. I am in Mckinney, not Austin. Good luck Austinites! rep the MEAN GREEN!
