I said earlier there was a coach's show. Went to the Pourhouse about 6:00 PM. One of my guys in my group was there, and he had called the athletic department to see if there was a show this afternoon. He was told yes. He also had called the tix office for something else, and ask Gabe. Told yes, there is a show. Well, there was not but I had a great pizza and a couple of beers with my buddies. Sorry if anybody saw my post and listened to the radio, but there was definitely not a show. Don't know why.

That's pitiful. I knew last Wednesday that there would be no radio show tonight....due to women's basketball. The Denton alumni association was supposed to meet there for the coach's show, and we were told (as of last Wednesday)....that it would be pre-empted by women's hoops, and that the final one would be next Monday.

And yet today, you were told by numerous athletic department employees that the show was on for tonight. That's par for the course.

That is pretty pathetic, but very par for the course.

I wonder why we have heard very little from RV these days.

This is the sort of mismanagement you see in an organization when the top just doesn't care. What will we have to do to get leadership on this? I have no doubt that there is leadership focus on other areas. For some reason they think it's OK to neglect this especially visible area. When the Flute Player Network has the same ratings as ESPN, I guess then we'll be rocking.

How can our head coach regularly not show up for a scheduled coach's show? I mean, do we have to be high school in every aspect of the program? Ridiculous! I thought that part of his pay package was based on a weekly radio show? Unbelievable!

I am unhappy like a large majority of us, but in this case Coach Dodge is in the clear, rather the moneky crew called the AD office screwed up because they have forgotten how to communicate with each other. The show was preempted due to the Women's BB Game.

I understand Dodge has had health issues in his extended family so that may have been a reason he couldn't attend. But obviously the athletic staff thought there was to be a show since some called and asked. Several in that department are not on the same communication page....we sure know we (the fans) have been left out lately. <_<

The show didn't happen, because KNTU was obligated to carry our women's basketball game. So, in this instance...Coach TD is not at fault in any way. Got it folks?

Dodge was certainly not to blame. There was no equipment set up or anything. It seems everybody new except me and the other 5 people I had dinner with. Even Pourhouse knew, but we just got a hold of the wrong people who gave us the wrong info. Sorry, you cannot blame Dodge this time.
