Sources have confirmed to gomeangreen.com that Jared Mosley is set to welcome a new Senior Associate AD to his team. Shannon Halbritter has joined the department as Mean Green's new Senior Associate AD for Marketing and Fan Engagement. Halbritter is currently serving as Texas Tech's Assistant AD of Promotions and Fan Engagement. She has been at Texas Tech since 2019. Shannon will be joining North Texas as the new top marketing person in athletics. The newly created position comes as North Texas looks to grow its staff with the move to the American Conference.

VERY glad we are investing in Marketing and Fan Engagement. 

On paper, this seems like a great fit for both parties. Shannon brings 6+ years of experience with fan engagement and marketing from WVU, Kansas State, and Texas Tech. It looks like Shannon has primarily focused on volleyball and Women's basketball programs in the past. Assuming Shannon will be responsible for more/all programs at UNT, this will be a fantastic growth opportunity for her as well.

Interesting, so is she above Jamie Adams in the hierarchy then? Seems like a fast riser
