Great color for a 44 year old clip.  Who is the QB ?  Joe Stevenson ?

What great memories. I was at that game but do not recall who the quarterback was. At one time, NM State was our most frequent opponent. I suspect that is not the case any longer.

FYI, Joe Stevenson (#10 on your program) was on the team from 77-80. He started a couple of games in 79 when Jordan Case's congenital back problem kept him from playing.  He started the whole 1980 season. His first start in 80 was the opening of the (then) new UTA stadium......which he totally ruined for them.

Until last year, and this year, I always thought that the 79 season where Jordan Case was the starter and Joe Stevenson was the back-up was the best one-two QB situation we ever had.

I was at the  UTA game.  I guess they will play there again if in fact they get their football program up and going again.

With the current leadership, and being under the thumb of the UT System it may never happen - which is a shame.  Would love to see them get some form of football back even if it is D-II etc.

Some good old fashioned offensive line play.  Love it.

How about that pulling guard #61 blocking downfield on that first play. 61 was Melvin Lark I believe.
