MGB news and notes: UTSA to host camp at DeSoto

Doesn't matter because it's scheduled on a different day than any of UNT's metroplex camps (2 in Denton & 1 in Mesquite).

I imagine many top-level area recruits will be in attendance at the LSU camp, and will walk away disappointed if they get an offer from UTSA & not LSU.   Probably best to have your own camps... like we do.

Not surprising that he crowned San Antonio as our biggest rival in CUSA, since he just happens to be a graduate from that place. I don't see them as being any more of a rival than LT, UTEP, or Rice. Maybe that's because I've known a lot of grads. from those 3 schools, but very few from UT-San Antonio.

Speaking of softball, WT signed two girls from Guyer last year. One of them, Shane Starkey , has been a starter since game one . They are now 53 -3 and on their way to the National Championship Tourney. Don't know if UNT recruited the girls or not.
