Since I'm tired of reading everyone here bickering like an old married couple about the current state of UNT athletics, I had an interesting thought about the Harrell Passing School. With Harrell's current status as an OC and the NCAA ruling of no satellite camps, does this mean he will no longer be able to participate/evaluate those players? I see this as a potential leg up for recruiting but I am curious as to whether or not it violates any sanctions as far as recruiting those players and the satellite camp rules now in place.

Interesting.  I honestly wasn't even aware of The Harrell Passing School ( https://harrellpassing.com/ ).

I think the verbiage in the NCAA release that pertains to this would be...

Quote

"Additionally, FBS coaches and noncoaching staff members with responsibilities specific to football may be employed only at their school’s camps or clinics. This rule change is effective immediately."

Graham's involvement likely turns on the definition of "employed"

Great great idea.

And serious kudos for bringing some solutions to this board instead of the same ole problems  ??

(channelling Emily Litella)  What's all this fuss worrying about Harrell passing school?  He's a coach, not a player!  Oh, never mind...

So.......University of North Texas QB Passing School.  Sign up now!  Taught by NT's Coach Graham Harrell.

Nice. Though I'd just keep the old name and tack on "at UNT" on the end.

Bring in caliber prospects and show off just how nice and soft that Apogee turf is. Softer than my rug, I swear.
