Also, saw this article today about why Olawale needs more carries...

http://justblogbaby.com/2015/12/07/oakland-raiders-need-give-jamize-olawale-carries/

"With a struggling running game, the Oakland Raiders need to give Jamize Olawale an increased role in the rushing attack..."

He is certainly carrying the Mean Green banner well

Congrats! I'm sure he loves us..

I was gonna say... how many carries did he have during his Mean Green career?

Edit: http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/jamize-olawale-1.html the answer is not much..

I believe he's the first player since Cobb to receive an extension greater than one year?? I do believe Craig has only signed one year deals and Dunbar is still on his rookie contract.

Not still on the rookie deal. He was an RFA after last season and signed a tender offer.

IRVING, Texas -- As the second day of the Dallas Cowboys’ offseason program begins, running back Lance Dunbar and punter Chris Jones signed their restricted free-agent tender offers.

They had the ability to sign with another team through Friday but had not received any offers.

The Cowboys gave both players the low tender, worth $1.542 million. Had they signed with another team, the Cowboys only would have had the right to match an offer sheet and not received any compensation if they didn’t because both players were undrafted free agents.

Lee when healthy is the best player on the team.  As much as I like Dunbar, he is not yet close to the category of player; Lee is.

Agreed, but the guy spends a lot of time on the sideline getting paid a lot of money to do so. If the Cowboys aren't afraid to give big money to a player that spends a lot of time injured, then they shouldn't be afraid to give a player not nearly as much who spends a lot of time injured.

And Lance sure looked to be one of the most potent offensive weapons when healthy.  It's not like he was hardly contributing, so hopefully the Cowboys give him another shot.
