A look back at the UNT 2015 HS signing class

Interior linemen are typically the tallest position on a roster.
Having said that, any dude that is 6'10 needs a tall glass of water.

No. Interior linemen (in their natural position) are almost always shorter than tackles. Tackles are taller because with height comes length. Tackles need length when protecting the edge.

Why? He was a true freshman who is in his 3rd full year of playing football.  He did not start playing football until he was a Junior in HS.  Also, due to McCarney and Co.'s inability to recruit he was forced to play far to early before he was truly ready.  He could have benefited from a ton of Practice reps vs having to learn as he goes.  I have no doubt he will (in time) become a very good football and an anchor for the left side of the line.

Really eager to see the football this kid morphs into. ;)

My sleeper from this class is Julius Combes.

Hell of a sleeper. Might have even played asleep based on results.

I hope Littrell plays the Oklahoma card with him & convinces him to stay.   Although, if the rumors about KP staying are true, he may leave anyway if his problem was with KP.

I thought there was a rumor that his leaving was not a bad thing? Maybe was asked to leave?

LIfer, you are correct.

I had the wrong Combs (Combes), I was thinking of our little heard from JUCO DE.

Jareid Combs

Jaried needs to step up big time next year.  I remember watching Julius' highlight tape and was surprised he was a walk-on with us.  Think he has something.  Speaking of DT's, what happened to Syd Moore this year?

Here are the freshman from the 2015 class signed under Mac.  There were some losses but not too many.  The problem is it is just a small class because Mac took a lot of juco's.

Interesting how many names on here that we are expecting so much from.

I'd give examples but I'd list nearly the entire class.

I thought Eli Howard left to join Kevin Patrick at Texas Tech and be a preferred walk-on.
