This is such good news. Mike Aresco is the best commissioner in the business. Air Force Academy AAC membership is on my docket.6 points

Somewhat minor issue compared to the fact we landed a great program to replace SMU. This is a huge win for the AAC. There were not a lot of viable alternatives and I think they landed they very best one available.5 points

Most of us grew up watching the Army Navy game every year for the last 50 years or so. Who could have ever imagined that we would one day be in the same football conference?5 points
-
Army-Navy being a non-conference game is very awkward and could lead to some weird, unintended, and unfair consequences. We'll see.5 points

I think KingDL1 listed the county where he's born because that's where West Point is so adding Army hits home in a sense. Others, I'm not sure.4 points

I like this idea, but they would definitely need a travel partner, and with Colorado moving back to the Big12, I wonder if COSt would like to come this way as well?4 points

Of all the things he says right.... I really appreciate the raw honesty he gives. He will call a player out. He has a good vision for what could have happened. I'm not drinking the kool-aid yet but I see potential.4 points

Why does the Army - Navy game need to be out of conference? Every press release keeps referencing "preserving the Non-conference matchup". Why does that matter?3 points

Don't let people's reactions bother you, it's probably just a disgruntled astros fan.3 points

Having been in the Army for a short stint, I look forward to playing them again. I was born in Jefferson County(Texas).3 points

I look forward to it, and I want to go to the game in West Point too. I was born in Orange County.3 points

Let's try this again, except after the 20/21 season: ... Then Perry stepped up to fill the void. There's a void again. Someone will step up to fill it. I'm excited to see who it will be (Rubin? Aaron? One of the new guys?).3 points

Why not identify the players that are being interviewed? I can only guess.3 points

Keep playing as we are beginning to play and we'll improve. We are newcomers to big time TV and it'll take a little while to get known. While it's true that we haven't raised much of an eyebrow yet, this year will depend on how many times we'll make an appearance and who the opponent is. I wonder how many people in Denton County knew that we were on national TV? We need to advertise...establish watching parties...take out a few ads when we are playing away. We've started in that direction but we still have a way to go. It seems our last games are turning heads. Just win a few and we'll be on our way.2 points

I don't know why, but Jason Edwards is my pick. I feel like he is just a flat our scorer and is FAST. I have so much excitement about him.2 points

I'd rather us have multiple go-to clutch guys on the team than a single figure every game. It's much harder on an opposing defense.2 points

Definitely disappointing, but I’d rather play on Saturday’s with these ratings than on weekdays with a little bit better rating. On another note, doesn’t the low rating say more about a ranked Tulane than it does about us?2 points
-
Looking at past ratings, I could surmise that having Tulane on our schedule is an attendance/viewership killer.2 points

TP is being replaced, the question is how well? That remains to be seen. I feel good about this team, the out of conference schedule should really prepare them for conference play.2 points

Honestly, I just wanted to hear someone's justification for thinking his reaction was alright.2 points

I believe Temple and Tulsa are the two teams who do not have an annual rival right now. I would vote for Rice/Tulane and us and UTSA.2 points

Loved to hear from the person that disagreed with my opinion. I would love to hear the justification for condoning his actions because I am not seeing it.2 points

RV hasn't been here in 8 years. Maybe there has been more, but the only sizable donation Mack ever made was to give a middle finger to us. That guy doesn't give two shits about us. Sure RV pissed him off, but what about the time before he pissed him off and after he was here? Maybe I'm wrong and he's secretly donating, but that's not his style.2 points

SMU was our paired conference rival that we were going to play every year, at least until 2026. I hope the AAC adjusts the matchups, and doesn't just slide Army into SMU's schedule pattern for the next three years.2 points

Other than the score. The Memphis QB is a Denton boy. He should bring a nice crowd to support him. What would be great for recruiting is if UNT can handle Memphis and hold some of the local talent to play here. This might be our biggest High Profile game at home in years!!!! Great for recruiting.2 points
