Martin was the best qb on the field today. Two drives 2 scores, had some great long balls. We definitely have a number of quick backs. Tre and Addaway May be the bangers! Norvil in the middle and Hamilton on the edge looks to give us a good d- line. Will definitely have the size! GMG

Tre Looked like a bowling ball on that long run of his!! Agree with you that Martin looked like the best one out there today. A ton of Mason's passes were off today which uncharacteristic of him Other Notes: -Bean Is FAST!!! Had a nice little run were he went outside the pocket and shot up the field -Kuehne had a nice touch pass that went for a long touchdown were he floated it over a defender in the middle of the field -Cam Johnson (Hammy) and Keelan Crosby (Knee?) went down with injuries. Crosby's seemed to be in a lot more pain unfortunately. Hopefully they are minor and can recover quickly. -Our Kickers didnt impress me at all during their warm ups but at the end Mooney(47) looked like it was his job to lose. Zach Williams (49) missed several in a row when they did FG at the end. -Kelvin Smith changed his number to 9. Also, he looked HUGE out there. I dont know if it was the smaller number or he just got bigger over the offseason.

I was looking forward to blowing a paycheck at the garage sale. But rain (even the slightest bit) has an effect on attendance. And attendance has an effect on how much gets purchased. And it's a lot of work to haul all that stuff out of storage and set it up if people aren't going to show up. I'm guessing it'll be at the season ticket pickup this summer??? I can't think of another event they host where it would be a decent compliment to have the garage sale set up.

I see us beating SMU this year AT SMU for the first time in almost forever. I think we narrowly lose to Houston starting 2-2 with a close loss to Cal as well. I think this year the two games that will decide everything will be La Tech and Southern Miss. I believe we can win those games and come out on top for our first conference championship at 9-3. Again super early but I’m excited for this season, can it be August 31st yet??

This is a hot take if i've ever read one. I truly believe, if we are able to sustain the success we are experiencing out through 2025-2026, we would leap over schools like Tulsa and Memphis and definitely NIU. Tulsa and NIU don't have the market, and Memphis is only really relevant in basketball, and they haven't produced that well recently. If those schools got in with the Big12 leftovers before us, I will be incredibly disappointed. Also, give me death before you put us in a conference with Texas State.

Where is the money going to be for schools like ourselves? Can not stress enough to become a season ticket holder! Even split with a buddy if need be. This allows the AD to at least have planned revenue even with poor weather.

Our strength and conditioning programs are paying off for all North Texas athletes! NFL size nose guard, that is for sure! If we cannot recruit big d-line men, we can grown them on our own!

Then let’s set our sights on passing them by.

A lot of the NT poor showings is related to the strength of the tournament they are playing in. Akers took over a horrible NT team and finished fourth in CUSA last year. This is after finishing 10 and 11 respectively in 2017 and ,2018. The results this year have thus far been disappointing, but I will wait for the conference tournament to see if progress is being made.
