A big part of me really wants to see North Texas play in the Cotton Bowl this season. First thing first, lets take care of Tulane.

Isn't the HOD on Jan1 opposite about 3 or 4 other games? Beggars can't be choosers, of course but given druthers I'd rather have a night game to ourselves.

I agree. I'd love to play in the Heart of Dallas bowl, but I bet we'd be their last choice due to the loss of travel-related revenue.

All of this is fun to imagine but as I look further at Mac's tenure, I am retracting statements made in other threads that any game past Tulane "will decide things." Because this team has only won 2 road games since 2011, until there is dramatic course correction here, I'll be worried about proclaiming supreme confidence of bowl eligibility.

I hope we do get into the Beef O' Brady Bowl. Having already played in the Salad Bowl (1948), we would only need a Potato Bowl to make a complete meal.

This is nice, but I'm sure our guys are less focused on a bowl game and focused more on winning the games to get to a bowl game.
