Kishawn McClain, an athlete out of Rosenberg Terry, committed to UNT on Thursday afternoon, a week after attending the school’s Talon Talent camp for top prospects.

McClain, 5-11, 193, was recruited as a safety by UNT. He plays both quarterback and safety for his high school team.

Wow - great athlete. Stood up like a man when his teams QB (Antoine Arboleda )was injured and absolutely excelled. Looks like he can stick on defense. Good speed. Like this pickup and the way things are going for us in recruiting. Welcome to the Mean Green family Kishawn!

EDIT: take the time to watch his HUDL video and you will see why we are all so excited about this pickup!

Texas 7v7: DI Sleeper Watch

QB Kishawn McClain (5'10, 185) -Rosenberg Terry - 2014

Sure he's not the big quarterback some schools are looking for, but McClain has the versatility to not only take snaps, but nearly play every skilled position. But seeing that he will primarily be throwing the ball this weekend, he will continue to show that he is a solid player.

I shall call you Die Hard.

After each touchdown, it is required to do some sort of remake of a scene, ie pretend to tie a firehose around his waist and jump off an exploding roof or crawl on his back while pretending to shoot through a table, and yell YIPPEE KI YAY!!!

Playing as an ironman in any sport requires some serious balls, and he definitely has them. He may end up as my favorite player of the decade if he's as crazy and awesome at the college level as he sounds like he'll be.
