MUTS Vegas Line

I just saw that the line is 2.5!?!?! I would think by our OOC games this year the spread would have been higher. I would think we would be favor by about 6 or so. Am I missing something?!

Don't look at it as one team being far superior than the other. Vegas sets the line where it can get an even number of plays on both sides.

Personally, I think the line is pretty close as I was expecting NT to be favored by 3.

It would take alot of work to win by 7.5 pts our offense has been offensive this year. They picked it up late in Akron but still stalled out the 2 times they got inside the 10 in the 4Q.

This will be an ugly game just like last year, predict a close UNT win or a MUTS blow-out with our soft zone and pourous O-Line.

What?????

With NT's pathetic OOC showing and horrible offensive stats, "wiseguys" would kill the books loading up on MUTS. I'm not saying NT would not cover, but from the outside looking in, the obvious play is on MUTS +7.5.

In all fairness, the 3 pt line is a pretty "normal" line when the books expect the home team to win in an evenly matched game.
