I bet the ‘waiting to be announced’ is key.  I bet the OC is in place. Just waiting for NSD to pass through out of respect for their current school.

Agree.  That makes good sense.

You guys must’ve missed this one. If @TheReal_jayDsaid it you can take it to the bank. There will not be a OC hire.

Your head coach is the OC.

is that to save money to get other coaches that are more expensive?

An OC will be hired. Im saying that Morris is an OC. I assume he will call plays. The OC title will probably be just in title alone.

Was he a player and was he on the field for "The Drive"? Might be salty at the Mean Green and may be coming to sabotage us. Just kidding.

According to LinkedIn he attended from ‘13-‘18. I found where he was a student manager for the 2016 game but didn’t look for other seasons. I assume he didn’t play for UTSA.

Just answered the questions I was about to submit. Surely he wouldn't put all his time in being OC when he's got an entire team and staff to manage. Sounds like he'll go the Sean McVay route. McVay may have an OC in LA but we know who really pulls the strings.

Thank you for that information. EM must not truly understand UNT. Never hire a UTSA or SMU grad. LOL

Davis has over 10 years of exp with this system.

If you consider Kliff's system and Morris' the same then I guess so, but I don't think the two run the exact same system.  Davis is the oldest and most experienced at 30 with a whopping 5 years coaching experience. Brophy, is 26 and seems to only have GA experience. Surita is 26 and has the same lengthy career as Brophy, but isn't coaching.

These are all estimates on age because none of them have much of a internet presence, not even a Wikipedia link.

Not liking this.

note, I'm I didn't include Davis' GA years as coaching experience.
