It obviously isn't 100% accurate because it doesn't show our offer, but I wonder if we came in too late on Mitchell.  His profile on verbalcommits.com only shows offers from UMass-Lowell and SHSU.  I am assuming that SHSU had a chance to really build a relationship with him.

It does show our offer. There are tabs under the offers for open, interest, and closed. When a player commits, any other offers go to the “closed” tab. The only reason Umass-Lowell is shown in the “open” tab is because he transferred from Umass-Lowell before going to his JUCO. Previous schools show in the “open” tab where it explains that they “Transferred” from that school. Not because they are actively recruiting him.
