As per 1b, there might be a way to do this without buying. I don't know much about the bus industry, but it might be possible to make an agreement to have a charter bus company paint several of their rigs with UNT design in a contract that we exclusively use said charter company for team travel. During the week the same buses run the usual routes wile being a billboard for the university. We got any exes that own a bus charter company? Just a thought.

1. Indoor practice facility - football (this will only serve to bring in better recruits for the cash cow sport)

2. 28,000+ at all home games; 3,000+ at all away games within 5 hours (the $ that comes in from near-to-sellout crowds at Apogee would be used for all of these suggestions I'm reading; highly desirable and upwardly mobile teams travel well...)

3. Baseball

4. Basketball indoor practice facilities (addtl upgrades to the Super Pit)

5. enhance/upgrade track&field facilities

1. womp womp womp

2. womp womp womp. We haven't even hit 28k in that time...26k for UTEP on homecoming.

3. womp womp womp

4. done, but what little did I know about the inhabitant who was coming to reside there

5. womp womp womp.

6. would like to add soccer facility upgrade for our ladies. We should add brick seating for both softball and soccer to let that area become more aesthetically pleasing. Also, permanent restrooms...

Guys, we have had a dedicated indoor basketball facility for about 2 years named after Earnie Keene. Regarding an indoor practice field for football/soccer, looks to me like that money will go for a men's baseball park first. I really see no reason, other that if mandated by CUSA, to add another non revenue producing sport such as baseball whose games will be attended by a hundred or so fans. Our Athletic Department is, and has been, underfunded as long as I can remember, and adding a baseball program will just be a financial drain. Just an old man's opinion.

I said I am an old man, and just proved it once again. I never look at dates because it reminds me of how close I am to biting the bisque. In fact, took my grandsons to Ft. Worth Rodeo and spent 5 minutes sticking my credit card in an AMT machine thinking it sold carnival ride tickets. Still can't spell Kuehne.
