Mean Joe Greene

I wasn't aware of this until recently, but were you all aware that Mean Joe's son played here back in the early 90's? Anyone know where I can find his stats? Just curious. Thanks!

Joe had two sons who played for us:

Major Greene..earned letters in 1987, 1988, 1989, and 1990.

His younger brother, Delon Greene....earned letters in 1990, 1991, and 1992.

They were both Defensive linemen...as I recall.

Ah ok, thank you. Delon currently works at UNT and I occasionally interact with him. He speaks highly of the university and his time here, and mentioned to me briefly that he played football. Thanks for the info.

Well, if he works for the University, I would imagine that he would speak highly of it.

I suppose, although I have met some disgruntled employees in the past.

He and I do presentations for our respective departments at new employee orientations twice a month.
