How many remember this?

We (KTBC-TV) have been running specials on it all week long. We've interviewed a lot of people. My mom was 8 months pregnant with me in Austin when this went down. Truly a sad day. They just reopened the tower observation deck a couple of years ago.

It's interesting how times have changed. They call him a sniper, if it happened today he'd be called a terrorist. Either label is correct in my book

GO MEAN GREEN !!!!!!!

Naturally I was too young to remember it. However, a priest I knew from my UT days was working over at the Catholic Center across the street during that day. He was one of many who risked their own lives trying to save others during that whole tragic affair. For many years UT ran away from this day, now the University is now starting to acknowledge it. This day should be one where we remember and honor the victims whose lives were cut tragically short

BTW, I have been to the floor just below the observation deck in the Tower. It's really a great commanding view of the whole UT campus.
