Mark Followill - North Texas Fan

During tonight’s Mavs-Grizzlies game, Mavs commentator Mark Followill was talking about Lofton Jr and said he was very familiar with his game because he watches a lot of North Texas basketball. Not surprised since he is Dallas/North Texas athletics fan through and through

Yeah, Followill is a big time UNT guy. It's cool to hear on a Mavs broadcast.

I might be nuts, but I think he joined the Mean Green Radio booth several times during the NBA lockout in 2011.

Mark is an awesome alumnus and supporter of the Mean Green. With how busy he keeps himself, it is great to see how much he shouts out North Texas on Twitter!
