There Is No Mention of the Rice Game

Usually, there is lots of chatter about the upcoming opponent.  As of this morning (M), nothing.  Have we given up on this game and maybe the season ?  I was looking foward to playing Rice as well as UTSA.  Maybe we pack it in and hope for a better 2021.

I think it’s more of not getting our hopes up....although I do have my media room ready to go for Saturday’s game.

Now I’m getting hope that we play, but who knows what happens over the next few days.

All I know is, we DO NOT need to release uniforms because 3 out of the 4 cancellations were after uniform reveals!

I received an email today advertising tickets for the Rice game.

Rice U’s 18 wheeler with the Owl’s football gear left Houston this morning according to their fan forum board.

Game is obviously on for a 1:00 pm kickoff.
