Didn't Canales once say something similar? You've gotta take it in context. He couldn't really say "I'll be gone in a year or two" when he's recruiting for UNT.

Don't get me wrong I think of all our coaches from Previous regime Perry actually loved the city of Denton and how accessible his family was. I also think he knew it was time to move on/up for him as well. He'd been the RB coach here far too long. Happy that he's got another gig can never have enough good coaches.
