11.5 points and 7.5 points per game last year.

Sounds like he is two players rolled into one!

Ambidextrous...11.5 left hand and 7.5 right hand = 19 PPG. Vito was in a hurry and left those facts out of his article.

Surely this can't be right.  I am sure it has been stated a coach on his last contract year can't recruit anyone.

A very late JC that may or may not qualify. A free ride is a free ride.

The lead is buried here. Apparently Neighbors thinks this kid "will be good for what UNT is trying to do." How is he going to scare the 500 remaining fans out of the Superpit?

Let me know when he gets a HS kid with lots of options and not a juco.

We figured that being in his last year of the contract he would likely only have one or two spots and they would be filled the juco route.  He has a pretty salty high school commit already and the transfer guard from San Diego.

Why not a 5 star All American?

Obviously, anyone can recruit some players to just about any program.  That was the point against those arguing that Benford must get an extension to recruit.  There is also no evidence that his recruiting would be any better with an extension.

He was not highly recruited, but could fill a real important role on the team next year.  Johnson was a very nice pick-up and I hope Temara follows suit.

without a coach we will go no where even with talent.  I think benford can recruit but coaching is not what he is good at.  He calls a timeout and we do nothing different after it. I have to think the timeout conversations sound something like this.  they are killing us but keep doing what we are doing it might work.  Go team!

Actually heard him yell "go up strong" to Holman during a game his first year.

That's something I wouldn't even do.

He is worse than Trilli, and will fail miserably next year.

Question is, will UNT even care?
