  3. First away game as an alumni. Who’s going to be there? I’m solo traveling, but I would like to meet up with more people on the road.

  4. Jace Ruder, the former North Texas starting quarterback, has recently been taking reps at the linebacker position. Standing at 6'2" and weighing 222 lbs, Ruder possesses the size and athleticism that could make him a valuable addition to the defensive side of the field. It is worth noting that he might not be available for the upcoming game in Miami due to the birth of his child. This development is reminiscent of Gary Patterson's successful strategy at TCU, where he had a knack for identifying athletic quarterbacks and transitioning them into linebackers. It will be interesting to see how Ruder's potential transition to linebacker progresses in the future.

  6. We’re not ready for the American. That league is going to chew us up.

  7. This shouldn’t be a rebuild. There’s talent here. This team played in a championship game LAST YEAR. Littrell teams ROLLED teams like FIU routinely. This is a disaster thus far.

  9. One of our board members rang the bell to open the NYSE a couple of days ago. I won't share who, as I will allow him to choose to do so if he wishes.

  10. Well I thought I was a funny guy, cropdusting an aisle at Target where my friends were shopping. I was ignoring the grumble in my guts, thinking only of the joy of stink bombing my buddy as I strolled by. Well, the tables quickly turned and the surprise was all mine. Next thing ya know, I am high-speed duck walking my drippy bum to the Target bathroom, where I proceeded to engage in some projectile biological warfare. Normally not a huge deal - not my first poop rodeo. Problem was the hair trigger auto flush that kept splashing my own filth back on to me. That’s not to mention my soiled undies and splattered shorts. Obviously I had to ditch the drawers in the trash can but I needed to do so unseen - and damn this was a busy bathroom. After about 20 minutes hiding in the stall, I finally found a narrow window of opportunity, washed up, and dashed outside to hide my shameful shorts by leaning against the wall. Eventually my wife tracked me down and bought me some new boxers and shorts, which I changed into in the very same stall where I had violated the Geneva Convention. Still have the shorts.

  14. Seth had a ceiling, and he reached it repeatedly. Morris apparently has a floor that we are still discovering. We needed an experienced coach. Not... Whatever this is.

  17. I miss Phil Bennett. Didn’t realize how much of a band-aid he was for this defense.

  22. True. But Dodge took a crappy team and made it worse. Morris took a (marginal) bowl team and made it look like a Dodge team. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  32. Thank you all very much! Really appreciate the kind words. I am very proud of UNT and of Sigma Chi, everyone who knows me hears about North Texas! One of my sons is currently attending our great institution and is a Sigma Chi. BTW our CEO on my left is also a UNT alum. North Texas Family, it is a real thing.

  33. Better question, IF the PAC 12 stays alive and looks to add members, do we attempt to get included? I mean, without whoring ourselves, forgoing revenue, and flat out begging, of course.

  39. Gosh I hope Army gets into the American. Texas State and also James Madison have appeared on my radar today. Seems like they are committed to winning, at least in football.
