ESPN is probably like, "Whoa. The Plus sucks, but even we don't stoop to UTSA quality. Remember, even the most goddess of girls at UTSA are only a solid six."4 points

I’m sure I will get downvoted 😂. but a position coach job at Bama/ Ohio state > NT DC4 points

I inherited a 2002 f150 with the 5.4 v8 and 4wd. Has over 235k miles. Runs strong. Had a few leaks fixed and it sounds like one of the pulleys is squeaking but other than that, ship shape.4 points

Ha. Good one. I am concerned this will bite us in the ass. SL does realize that he will not have a job if he duplicates another season like this past year, yeah?3 points

Taking a look at it, going from this link: https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30675288/michigan-coach-jim-harbaugh-reach-contract-extension Harbaugh's new contract will pay him a base salary of $4 million in 2021, which will increase to $4.426 million in 2025. He can earn a maximum bonus of $3.475 million in each year of the contract, including: $1 million bonuses for winning the Big Ten championship and CFP national championship $500,000 bonuses for winning the Big Ten East Division and reaching the College Football Playoff. I laid it out on spreadsheet (it's easier for me to interpret that way lol) and I think it does two things: 1) UM is saying, we're going to give you a few more years to figure it out but we're not gonna pay you unless you win Championships or contend for them 2) Harbaugh's agent did him a solid by staying firm with the buyouts, really forcing UM's hands to keep him for the next three years (this is my opinion only: I wouldn't spend the money to fire him until 2024 with the $6mil buyout) To me the AD here is kind of hedging his bets, perhaps having "measured faith" is a better way to put it. Either way, the headlines will read "Harbaugh Takes a Pay Cut" which is good publicity all-round and buys himself a few years at his dream job to turn it around while the AD also saves some face by not "rewarding mediocrity" - I say that as I doubt there's many coaches that would get a contract like this after his most recent production, expectations, etc but won't go off track in that way. I'd say he's getting the "Alumni Exception" with this contract along with the question that should always be asked before firing coaches at this level: "If not him, then who?" - I think UM looked around and didn't see anyone on the market that they liked which makes this a good deal in their eyes at the time. If nothing else, they have a plan in place through 2025!3 points

Bowen making $350,000 let’s say an OC would make $250 ,000 Seth keeps the OC job that would give us $600k to play with. I do think we will have to do a 2 yr contract. Most these guys want to move from position coach to DC and maybe be closer to home in this case. GMG3 points

Update this to 4-0 in conference. Best start in school history. Doing all this without Char Shepherd, Callie Owens, Trena Mims, Summer Jones, or Randi Thompson.2 points

Yes, Bell's Friday game of 17 pts, 5rbs and 3 blocks was just not up to par. Do you even watch the games? The shadow of Hamlet only had a team high 18 points today?2 points

Why is Lewis not on the floor more? He contributes and shoots a high percentage. Maybe that’s the problem.2 points

I wasted a lot of time searching ever obscure channel on Dish and combing through espn+ and Youtube. C-USA is a joke. How some on this board can continue to defend MacLeod is beyond me. Just more evidence of her failure as a commissioner.2 points

It was on ESPN+ at 3 but when you clicked on it, it wouldn’t load. When you backed out it was gone. Such BS2 points

I think it was Haskins who would always say, if you take care of your home games and get half of the road games, you'll be in the running for the conference title. Mathematically they may not always be the case, but I still think it has value. Road wins are tough. Embrace every single, ugly one of them.2 points

I thought today's game was originally supposed to be on ESPN+, but now both UNT and UTSA athletic sites are showing game is only on CUSA.tv. Yuck....2 points

This will be tough for both teams, but I don't expect a as high of scoring game. Let's sweep them!2 points

For some reason, ESPN has this game listed on ESPNU for 3CST. But as far as I can tell, the original game scheduled for this slot (Houston vs Tulane) is still on. Probably a typo. I imagine this is still going to be on ESPN+2 points

Without getting into the he's good or he sucks debate, I find it interesting in the way they have set up his extension Salary has been slashed, but he can still make it up with incentives. Now if they are BS gimmies then it does no good, but if they are actual tangible targets it could be interesting. Would like to see more contracts, both coaches and players, where the base is lower and performance increases the payouts.2 points

I've driven Fords since I started driving and they've all done me great. Started with a Ranger, put close to 200K on an 05 F150 that I'm pretty sure is still running around with the construction guy I sold it to, and now am 120K in on a '13 F150 Ecoboost. I've also got an 82 F100 3.8L that still runs, though not great but slowly working on restoring.2 points

Greetings to all Mean Green fans! I’m a longtime Rider season ticket holder and I love the discussion. Clearly Mason Fine is an exceptional talent and I am excited to see him play for the Riders. I expect he will play in one or both of the preseason games. Although it is uncertain if the season will start on time given COVID restrictions. Sooner or later he will play and I expect he has all he needs to be successful in the CFL once he adjusts to the nuisances of the rules and a larger field. All part of the fun. I notice #9 seems to be available right now. Go Mason Fine and go Riders!2 points

Yeah, their barely 30% and 37% 3 pt percentage and team lead in turnovers are really lighting it up. Why don't you dig deeper before you try to clown other people's knowledge?1 point

I don’t now if this is embarrassing. We had foul trouble early on, and UTSA has some of the best guard play in the league. In end, we were still in it. I think UTSA’s guard play was playing out of their mind, and we aren’t playing as well as we did at the end of last year.1 point

They aren't good is what is an embarrassment. But, given what I have seen all year from our team, we don't look good either.1 point

Makes you you wonder. I am hoping we are not down the the 4th or 5th choice. Hope we are pleasantly surprised1 point

That was also in Houston. Winning on the road is tough, mainly in this conference and when you're going against Hackson. Comparing other games to ours is silly and proves nothing at all1 point

Working on building my first rig and I've run into the brutal market that is GPU buying. I can't justify spending $600 on a 3 year old card. Looking for a solid 1080p GPU, something like a 1660s. Let me know if you have anything you're trying to sell and/or get rid of1 point

Cal: as far as x-and-os, I dig him. He looks like he would be an inspiration to play for. Then there's everything else. A trail of cheating follows that guy wherever he has been. Super shady off the court.1 point
