zone read/ read option offense

I have watched several zone read/read option offenses while watching college and NFL football this weekend.

Some have been asking for an exciting, less predictable offense. The read option is exactly that if you have a qb that can run. You may guess that a run is coming, but you wont know from who until the last second.

Im sure our backs and OL are happy Dajon is starting this week. TEs will be able to slip into the flats...more roll outs...

Exactly. Plus less 8-9 man boxes. I know it was against second teamers, but Evans had huge run lanes on the zone reads and I expect more of that. Facing the fronts we had been facing and with our play calls we were not seeing big run lanes, even when we blocked the plays up well.
