Texas St OL commit takes official UNT visit this weekend

I don't mind that he is taking his official visit but...unless we are losing one of the five signees/commitments where would we put him? We will have 16 offensive linemen if everyone shows. Everyone except, maybe, Kirby is on scholarship. I would consider most/all FBS-quality linemen. Offensive linemen do not get substituted as often as the defensive positions. The biggest need is on defense; especially linemen. I hope we see who accepts before extending an offer.

I agree totally but was just saying that weird things happen until the pen actually signs on the dotted line. I also think the OL is covered and the need is on the DL. Too bad it is difficult to change an O lineman into a DT. I have seen it successfully done in the opposite direction though. Defensive athletes can switch positions much easier...hard work any way you cut it but done.

Hmmmm...if that's true , I wonder if we lost a prior OL commit ?

Just seems like a awful lot of OL unless we plan to move some to DT ?
