the jerseys at the stadium store are at 'offical team wear'....OTW ....not nike...yet just as pricey...we bought one saturday for 65...

Yeah i see it on footballfanatics.com; is that really all UNT has to offer. What would be the benefit of not getting the real thing? Does the material even feel nice?

Their average attendance is 10k greater than ours. So I guess the answer is yes.

I'd say it has more to do with Marshall and Nike having a near decade long relationship. They didn't offer Nike Jerseys, even though thats what they wore, the entire time my brother played QB there.

They have 13,000 students, 9000 undergrad and 4000 post grad, not a size issue, it's a longevity issue.

Not disputing you, but that is hard to believe when I see some of the colors they throw on shoes.

I posted the exact response I got from RV on this and you disputed me then. They don't have our color in their regular color catalog until approximately next year. This is the exact same reason that you aren’t seeing numerous shirts in green from Nike in the shop now. There is currently only 1 Nike hat in the correct green.

I personally don't mind not being able to buy an actual authentic Nike jersey. But I would love a bigger hat and t-shirt selection from Nike. Maybe I'm in the minority but I prefer jerseys for my pro teams and t-shirts for my college.

It would also be a humble brag to talk about takling Cyrus Gray in high school... or holding on to his leg until reinforcements arrived.

      Unfortunately this comment by the head coach at UNT is going to appear defeatist and will do nothing to motivate students, fans or players. Wish it had been some other school’s head coach. Awful publicity for UNT.

      Morris didn't say anything that most of us haven't already said or felt. Quite frankly, what he said has been true for a lot longer than many of us want to admit. Our lack of commitment to athletics (whether you want to blame it on administration, students, alumni, or realistically all of the above) has set us back and has been an issue for years. It still hasn't changed, and it's going to continue to come back to bite us for years to come. There has to be a clear divide at some point, even though I would argue there's been a fuzzy divide for a long time. It's just a matter of time at this point that it becomes crystal clear. We are not going to be in the top tier of that divide. Our stakeholders (I use this broadly and there are clear exceptions) have made that choice over however many years now. It's just going to finally come to a head.

      If the basis for this is simply "not Power conference", then sure. The scholarship allotments suggest difference is level of play, though. I know NIL has negated a lot of that at the current P5/G5 level, but I would think that once you get past a certain point, outside the bubble of the P4, the impact of NIL could be watered down and you will still see scholarship limits play into the level of competition in front of you.

      After UAB swept us in the regular season, then proceeded to win more games we needed them to lose, and lose games we needed them to win, it's nice for ECU to put an end to their season. Hopefully we can win our fourth straight against the Pirates tomorrow.
