Okay treat them as employees. Fine by me. Make them then...pay for their own housing/food. And education...if they want to go. It's all right with me....if they don't even have to go to classes. At this point "student-athlete" is such a farce anyway. And as to the employee thing...do guys/gals who work in our Physical Plant....get free education, room and board, and other stuff that the athletes get? If not....why not? -

So you are saying that: He and Gary Dobbs did not open Courtroom Sciences, He did not choose to give up private practice, UNT lifer did not meet him through work in the early 90's, He was not hired by Oprah for her lawsuit with Texas Ranchers, Oprah did not make him famous, He did not start his own show, and, He did not voluntarily surrender his license. Should I ever believe a UNT lifer claim in the future? While he may have been the subject of criticism by other Psychologists, he voluntarily gave up his license in Texas in 2006 and had not been practicing in Texas for years prior. California did not require him to have a license for his show. -

Well not many athletic programs such as UNT actually make money, especially a at the G6 level. Also, why not pay a player for making the team as you would for any other employee. Trust me, the players are treated as employees whether they are classified as such or not. Some of us don't want to realize that the old way is dead and the NIL is alive. -

Yeah, at UNT (and most places), there are two sports that matter to fans. Football and men’s basketball. Anything else is gravy.- 1
