If it holds true we would return:

18/22 on Offense ohmy.gif

and

15/22 on Defense (possibly 16)

I am still confused on Travis Thompson, I would assume he would get a medical redshirt, but he is listed as a Sr. Anybody have info??

All in all we reload in 2005 and romp in 2006!!!! biggrin.gif

That's good to hear about Thompson. I am looking forward to seeing him play considering I have heard nothing but good things about him.

If they handed this out at Media Day, yesterday, why is Micah West still listed if he is academically ineligible?

Is Lineberry a Sr. or a Jr. Someone please clarify, because I thought this was his third year.

Lineberry was signed as a partial qualifier which means he is required to graduate or make significant progress in 4 years, SO he is essentially a senior this year but could be a senior again next year IF he makes enough academic progress towards his degree. I understand he is on track. Jonas Buckles is another example. Bottomline, we have two years of Lineberry left if he takes care of business in the classroom.

Is anyone else expecting Burress to have a breakout season?  Especially now that he has been at DE for a year and has had a chance to learn the postion. I dont know how fast he is but you have to love his size.

I saw Blake in the AC the other day as I was checking out the new center for the first time and DD stopped to talk to him for a second. He was asking about his weight and told him he was impressed with his speed. He's a pretty big guy.

I certainly hope that Burress has a break-out year, but keep in mind that a true fresham (Chapman) got more playing time last year than Burress. There has to be a reason for that. And if someone knows of a reason that Burress wasn't out there more than Chapman, other than eligibility and/or injuries, then I'd like to hear it.

I'll take an averaged sized and/or undersized overachiever (Chris Hurd and James Mitchell come to mind) over a big and impressive (but underachieving) "physical specimen" any time. wink.gif

Here's to the underdogs of the world. cool.gif
