Odd: New Punter and Kicker - Ford

Is this odd?  Who else has signed a punter and a kicker with the same last name?

 

Is UNT the ONLY school to ever have a kicker and punter that share a last name?

At the Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp, Ford snapped very well throughout the entire weekend. He was consistently around the target and finished with an average snap time of .78 seconds. Ford has a very smooth snapping motion. Continuing to accelerate his hands through his snapping motion, he will see his snapping continue to improve.

He committed, but he hasn't signed. I guess he isn't on a scholarship coming in so he doesn't have to officially sign? Not sure how it works out. He hasn't said anything about decomitting on Twitter, so I guess he's set to compete with Ford

It brought a laugh to my day. Back in the day, my driver's ed teacher's name was Edsel Dodge Ford.

You do know we had a running back with that name (in 1987)

In fact he scored our only TD in the playoff loss to NLU.

Did not know that Stan Humphries and Jackie Harris played for ULM or that they used to be Northeast Louisiana, that's pretty cool
