I wish they would change it to one "portal" transfer and then if you want to transfer again, you sit out a year like it used to be.

I thought the 1 time transfer w/ no sit was going into effect after this year????

It's a start but it just doesn't do enough in my opinion.  I would love to know who is pushing for this portal?  Like which teams and which coaches?  They should come forward and identify themselves and their motives.

Seems the upper Muckety-Mucks would be the portal pushers in this case as they benefit more than others.

These are student athletes, there is not a lot of time in between the end of the football season and the start of the spring semester.

Good point. I'm thinking the nuanced term "athlete students" may be the new normal.
