Question: On the last play the QB/runner also lowers his head; Why is he not charged? Why is it OK for runners to use the crown of their helmets?

That was a great game. I Love watching ole miss especially since they now look like a more talented version of FAU.  Kiffins gonna have them pulling some upsets soon.

Agreed. This was atrocious to watch on Monday night.

yeah, targeting penalties are frustrating in general, any time you put a play under review and get to watch it in slow motion helmets colliding always look worse. there needs to be some kind of only call what you see, rule. but again, this leads me back to the overuse of replay in college football

1 out of the 4 were targeting. When the QB was going down on a slide and the defender launched his body at him. Other than that, I saw players trying to make tackles and blocks. The last one was ridiculous.

Don't strike with the crown of the helmet.  Do what we taught years ago and keep your head up.  It is dangerous for everyone when a player drops his head.

I have played, coached, and been an official and I don't have any problem with making the game safer for everyone.  See what you hit, don't take cheap shots, and let's all play again next week.
