Forgive me if this is a repeat, but I didn't know Apogee was the home for a Texas team in the WNFC.  Apparently the team was undefeated and won the championship game.

Around 2003-2004, there was a startup women's "pro" league.  The head coach was basically a Todd Dodge.  The owner hired a pee wee coach who had no idea what the hell he was doing.  We got beat 99-0 in Oklahoma one night.  Another time, he gave me a new receiver 2 hours before game time who couldn't see the ball without her glasses, which she didn't have, and expected me to teach her how to be a wide receiver by game time.

 

I don't think we ever got a paycheck either.
