No offense to Mason, because he played a gritty game and was undoubtedly a leader... but it must have been a slow week offensively for CUSA.

I don't think stats are everything to be offensive player of week. He led his team into hostile SEC territory and got the dubya.

It's pretty amazing that we have a QB who going into an SEC stadium, and walks away with 281 yards, 2 TDs, and no turnovers, and we just go "I mean, it was an OK weekend."

Exactly. It's not really sinking in yet for me as I'm awed by this guy every week. He took some huge hits in this game. Doesn't phase him one bit.

Every time Shanbour comes in (as brilliant as the dude is), you just see QB play decline. And it's not because Shanbour is bad. It's because Fine is other-worldly good.
