Feels like each of these would draw two distinctly different crowds with different priorities in their mornings. Most of our official school events end up like this while this has potential to maybe end up like this. Plenty of room for both and nice to have something for everyone!

Are you *trying* to split the tv reference base?

What about ticket fair? whats a round about

Ok from a quick search (and by that I mean I don't know of any rules or restrictions yadda yadda):

$6 for A-Train (local day pass)

https://www.dcta.net/fare-information

And $5 for DART (local day pass)

https://www.dart.org/fares/fares.asp

Also looks like we can take the green line from the Trinity station all the way to Fair Park, @Withers940

If in Denton, get the regional pass for $10.00 includes both A-Train & DART

It is about an hour and 40 minutes to get from Downtown Denton to Fair Park.

How much are beers at this tailgate ?

To memory, at the UNT sponsored tailgate, beer was $7 and bloody marys were $9.

I don't want to put words in @Ryan Munthe's mouth (I really don't want to put anything in his mouth, truth be told), but I'd think that if they were going to charge money at the EastOakStArnold tailgate, they'd need a special TABC permit to do so, and I bet they don't have a special TABC permit.

It's a good way to go.  Last time we did it we had to change trains in downtown Dallas at the main sub station  I believe.  That has been awhile ago.  Either way I advise to take train but If green line will take you straight from Trinity to Fair Patk now that's even better.  I would be surprised if UNT doesn't offer some type of bowl day train promotion.

The Green Line, which is the one coming from Denton-way, goes right to Fair Park, so once you are on, you're set!
