Unless he's graduating in 3 years, he'd have to sit out next year and be eligible for only 1 season (in 2018).

247 says he enrolled at TCU in 2015 and the dallas morning news says he redshirted in 2015 despite appearing in 3 games. That would give him 4 years of eligibility before the start of this season. This season goes away so 3 years. Sits out next year and then has 2 years left. Would be worth it if he's willing to work but commenters on the FrogsOWar SB nation page say he's lazy and expected to be handed playing time due to his recruiting ranking. Of that's his attitude, not sure we would even go after him.

It wouldnt hurt to get him and if he doesnt pan out, Oh well but if he does, then we have a stud lineman for 1-2 years. I say its worth the risk. There could be a number of reasons why a kid stops trying or becomes lazy. He might not like competitions, he might not like the program/school, you never know. Or he could in fact just be lazy

Fair enough. Not like we're in a position to deny talented players if they decide they like green.
