The lack of national leadership and the deaths, both black and white, that have resulted

The family asking this to stop and condemning the actions? The demand on both sides to stop this crap? It's coming from anywhere except the fringes, but your goal is to just keep stoking it all as much as you can so you can be right about Obama and win the great political internet war. That's why posting about an action from the weekend while talking about a discussion that hasn't started as evidence not to talk to stop a person who could potentially do this later is somehow toxic and scary to you. I really don't get it.

You don't get that none of that matters until it comes from the President.

It hasn't.

And it won't. He needs to make sure the democrat party maintains that 95% black vote for the next election. He doesn't care about anything else, in particular the lives of young black males or police officers.

Going against Trump the Dems are going to carry that demo no matter what.  Otherwise your conspiracy theory is spot on!

In all seriousness, the President is doing no good by stepping down to the level of those who choose to feel like they need to instantly respond publicly to any and all news or social media.  Leaders should be above knee-jerk reactions.

Your second paragraph is correct.

As to your first, Trump is within 3 points of Hillary in the lastest national poll (not that that matter. It's the individual state polls that do). Won't matter either way, as they are both liberal democrats and will govern as such.

None of those exist in America today; hence, Trump v. Hillary for president.  People want knee-jerk and "we're right, you're wrong" no budging or compromise.  They may say they don't, but their voting/re-electing pattern shows what they really want.

For Obama, it manifests in the inability to just make some general remarks at a police memorial, then sit down.  He has to drag the political rhetoric into it.  This is what the sick f*ck political class calls "starting a conversation" or "keeping the conversation moving" and other p*ssy phrases and mindsets of the like.

In that, Obama is as much a self-serving sick f*ck as the rest of his fellow politicians.  They can take their "conversations" and stick them up their collective asses here.  A police memorial service is a memorial service for officer fallen in the line of duty.  It should not have been used to further your "side" of an politi-academic "conversation."

Delusional sick f*cks run this country, pretty much top to bottom, and two of the biggest are the top presidential candidates.  Sadly, they're just following in the footsteps of those already elected.

---  I don't blame politicians.. either party ..state or local ... We have as few police that don't need to be there and make bad decisions (some who just like to order people around)  and quite a few "citizens" that are totally stupid and can't seem to realize that police need and should shoot when confronted by as person with a weapon or a person disregarding there commands and moving toward them... Toss in there are racists in every group... NOT  just the white guys.. .
