Dumb move by ECU.   Wonder if they'll go after Lincoln.

If South Carolina doesn't get Riley then ECU would be an obvious choice for him and probably a great fit.

Now this makes me a little nervous. 

The thing that makes me nervous is if we have a "handshake" deal with Littrell, it's not binding at all and he could he can go to ECU if he wants. Ask Mark Cuban how his handshake deal with Deandre Jordan worked out.

I'm sure Littrell has inked his NT contract. Otherwise, Meaches would've been announced last weekend.

This is why we need to shit or get off the pot on Littrell. I fear that he is going to go somewhere else and I know there are a bunch of you that say calm down but For the longest time that I have been a UNT die Hard, what can go wrong, will go wrong.

Littrell probably requested it out of respect for UNC & his peers & players. No distractions for a huge game come Saturday. Could you imagine the local fire Littrell would be under if the coaching hire came out and UNC gets blasted by Clemson? That's a huge bridge burned. I'm sure we'll hear an announcement post-game.

We knew the risks involved in waiting on someone... This is what you get. He may have already signed something, but honestly none of us know that. I said a couple days ago I'd give the president the benefit of the doubt on this one and I really, really hope I'm right. ECU im sure would love to have him.
